Capture Manager

The Business Development/Capture Manager is responsible for developing the overall capture strategy to support organic growth and will participate in the entire opportunity development through proposal submission.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience identifying, qualifying, and winning government opportunities
  • Identify new opportunities that align with STS’s core capabilities
  • Develop and maintain strategic interpersonal relationships with key government customers
  • Develop, lead, and execute bid and proposal strategies
  • Identify team members to formulate win strategies
  • Manage the capture process from RFI’s, Sources Sought, Draft RFP, and RFP response to submission of final proposal
  • Develop and manage capture plans for presentation to Senior Leadership for approval
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in the development of pricing strategies
  • Review and interpret solicitation requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS *

Requirements

  • 10 years’ experience in DoD services market
  • Experience with Base operation support
  • Experience supporting government contracts
  • Existing relationships with Government Contracting and Program offices
  • Knowledge of federal acquisition, proposal, and contracting processes
  • Must possess the ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines with demonstrated ability to prioritize appropriately
  • Demonstrated success in responding to RFIs, Sources Sought, etc., with coordinated effort across groups and operations
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work easily across diverse organizations
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying and winning opportunities
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering or Business-related field
  • Shipley Training preferred
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and background screening
  • Excellent oral and written communications and experience briefing senior executives and customers
