Corporate Communications Specialist

Location: Augusta, Georgia (Onsite Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center)

Position Summary: STS is seeking a Corporate Communications Specialist to support the Corporate Communication Manager with Marketing, Administration and Event needs. Specialist will also promote, coordinate, and advocate for the Fort Eisenhower Cyber District with the Alliance for Fort Eisenhower. Will need personal vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

• LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media management
• WordPress, HTML platform management
• Assist with content creation
• Office Coordinator maintaining office inventory, mail retrieval, weekly shipping
• IT Support of virtual meeting management, simple IT upgrades to hardware
• Multiple board/committee meeting minutes management
• Alliance correspondence mail/donation management
• Event Calendar and registration management, gate pass management
• Supervisor of Alliance summer interns
• Attend events virtually and select in person events with organizations on Fort Eisenhower, at the Georgia Cyber Center, and local Chambers of Commerce and their Leadership Programs
• Project management of CyberPatriot camps (two weeks in the summer)

Qualifications:

• Understanding and experience with Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Creative Cloud Express)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Familiarity with databases and basic data entry
• Basic SEO/SEM knowledge
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, experience with story writing preferred
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• No specific knowledge of government operations is required, but prior experience in a government environment is a plus
