When you work in the defense community, you quickly realize how much depends on trust; trust in your people, trust in your systems, and trust that your data is safe. This is why STS pursued CMMC Level 2 certification. With fewer than 1% of the entire Defense Industrial Base currently certified, STS completed the rigorous C3PAO assessment well ahead of the mandated timeframe. For us, it’s about more than compliance, it’s about proving to ourselves and our customers that we can be trusted. SOFTACT is proactive, prepared, and ready to solve problems!
October 30, 2025 (Augusta, GA) – SOFtact Solutions (STS) is proud to announce that its Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) systems have officially achieved the Department of Defense (DoD) CMMC Level 2 status. The certification was supported by managed service provider C3 Integrated Solutions and validated through a successful third-party assessment by Redspin, a Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO). This certification confirms that STS has implemented advanced cybersecurity controls designed to protect sensitive government data, fully aligning with the DoD’s rigorous CMMC framework.
“For STS, this milestone represents far more than a compliance exercise, it’s a reflection of our long-standing commitment to operational excellence, innovation under pressure, and a culture of accountability that spans every customer we support,” said Daron Long, Director of Operations at SOFtact Solutions. “Achieving CMMC Level 2 status, validated by an accredited C3PAO, demonstrates our dedication to national security, and cybersecurity excellence.”
From pioneering solutions like the Army Maintenance Application (ArMA), which modernized outdated, paper-based systems, to building secure networks in no-fail environments, STS continues to deliver mission-focused results that enhance readiness across the force. Earning CMMC Level 2 certification reinforces the promise to our customers and partners: STS is ready, equipped, and committed to safeguarding sensitive information while solving problems that directly impact the warfighter. CMMC is the DoD’s comprehensive framework to strengthen the cybersecurity of the Defense Industrial Base against evolving threats. For contracts involving CUI, CMMC Level 2 requires contractors to undergo a third-party assessment and implement 110 specific security controls.
“This accomplishment sets us apart from many competitors still navigating the complex requirements,” said Sam Anderson, Executive Vice President at SOFtact Solutions. “As the CMMC framework becomes mandatory in more DoD contracts, our proactive investment and independently verified compliance make STS an immediate and trusted partner for the U.S. government and prime contractors.”
