Position Location: Ft Bragg, Fayetteville, NC

 

Description: SOFtact Solutions (STS) is seeking a proven senior level ServiceNow Technical Architect to join our team. The Senior Technical Architect is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of a successful deployment of the ServiceNow platform in a unique and challenging Department of Defense environment. Additionally, as the lead ServiceNow Technical Architect, this candidate should possess the technical knowledge and experience to provide direction, decision making, and lead one or more implementations. This position requires a TS/SCI security clearance.

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, STEM, or related technical field

 

Qualifications: 5+ years of ServiceNow platform experience with a comprehensive understanding of the product suite

 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all technical aspects of delivering complex customer solutions on the ServiceNow platform to include advising clients on best practice to create lasting value and enhanced experiences
  • Define technical and design approaches, lead daily scrums, and advise technical consulting resources on development and configuration activities
  • Lead sprint planning and review meetings and work to mitigate risk for the client
  • Estimate time and effort for technical resources and proactively communicate progress and forecast changes to the Engagement Manager
  • Own the technical quality on customer projects, participate in code reviews, and oversee Go-Live planning efforts
  • Assist with discovery workshops and collaborate closely with Business Process Consultants to define customer requirements
  • Support presales opportunities by providing technical demonstrations, technical scoping work estimates, and proposal and SOW reviews
  • Participate in internal knowledge sharing, coaching, and collaboration activities and initiatives

  • Experience working with Agile teams, methodologies, and tools
  • Experience in quality Agile user story writing, clearly defining both functional role user requirement and verifiable acceptance criteria
  • Experience assigning estimates for units of work such as stories, defects, and documentation and coaching resources on the technical development and configuration against defined user stories
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
  • One or more ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications

 

Preferred Skills:

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification
  • Ability to lead client-facing workshops and meetings
  • Experience with supervising and inspecting code migrations between instances as well as providing feedback to technical resources on approaches to remediate assigned defects
