Description: SOFtact Solutions (STS) is seeking a ServiceNow System Administrator to join our team. This position requires an experienced, self-directed, ServiceNow Systems Administrator to work in a full-time capacity providing systems administration support to designated special operations units. This position will support the customer site at Fort Liberty, NC which will provide support for the organization’s ServiceNow platform. Requires a strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM (Request, Incident, Problem, Knowledge, Change, Service Catalog, and Service Portal). Additional experience in Microsoft System Center Orchestrator will be greatly beneficial. Overseeing the implementation of system specifications, integration, testing, and documentation are a key part of the role. The successful candidate must demonstrate a high level of expertise with both ServiceNow, Orchestrator workflows, and service offerings. Knowledge of managing and maintaining Windows Server 2019 or above, and RedHat Linux 8x is a must, including application of required DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides. Should have experience with VMWARE. Expected to show proven ability to perform troubleshooting, load balancing and resource allocation in a staging and production environment. Interacts daily with supervisors and/or functional peer groups. Operates as a member of a team supporting multiple networked applications and may require 24/7 recall support. All support shall comply with applicable DoD regulations and site procedures. This position requires a minimum of Top Secret clearance, with eligibility to obtain SCI.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information System, Mathematics, or IT related technical field or equivalent experience
Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in the maintenance and administration of ServiceNow application platform.
Required Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in the maintenance and administration of ServiceNow application platform
- CompTIA Security+ Certification
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Ability to function as a member of a team while also capable of operation with little supervision or constant guidance
- Solid work ethic and the ability to work in a mission critical environment
- Experience in supporting Enterprise applications in a production environment
Preferred Skills:
- Large server environment experience
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
- 6-8 years of experience in the administration of LAN operating systems, servers, and applications in a production environment
- VMWARE ESX 5.5 or above experience
- S. or MS in Computer Science, Information System, Mathematics, or IT related field
- Military background and experience with Special Operations
Clearance: Top Secret; with eligibility to obtain SCI
